The Apartments Walderhof are situated in the sunny village of Meransen, at 1,560 meters above sea level, on the entrance of the Pustertal valley. Here, lovers of nature can relax in the middle of untouched forests, green fields and a wonderful panoramic view. Enjoy the beautiful view to the green Pustertal and the sunny Eisacktal.

A cosy & family-friendly place

Our house disposes of modern and cosy apartments which are furnished with every comfort. On request, we can bring you in the morning fresh bread and milk in your apartment. During your stay in our guesthouse Walderhof you'll never be bored: When the kids enjoy playing Ping-Pong, table-top football or on the playground outside, parents have time to relax. Wi-Fi internet is available for free.

When you love sports and activities outside, Meransen is the right place for you. Discover the country life and start out for wonderful hikes and mountain bike tours. In the winter, the dreamlike slopes of the near skiing area Gitschberg-Jochtal are waiting for you!

The owners are very kind and helpful. The apartment is equipped with everything you need, very well furnished and clean. The view from the apartment is very beautiful.

The host was very accommodating when we initially changed our booking and arrival date. The bread roll service and egg and milk service were very good. Peter was very kind to the children, who were allowed to help out in the cow and chicken coops and had plenty of freedom. He was very kind to the children and very nice to us as grandparents. He always had good leisure tips and special excursion destinations at the ready. Even after his long day at work, he still made time for us guests.

Everything was great. 5 stars+. Very friendly staff, delicious food, generous portions, local bread (several varieties), great prices, beautiful location. Attentive to guests, polite, and homemade schnapps and juices. I'd love to go back. I highly recommend it.

Beautifully situated farm. Great hiking area. Lovely holiday apartment, well-equipped. Bread delivery service, fresh eggs from happy hens, fresh cow's milk, very friendly hosts, not to mention the sweet farm dog Alex. We always enjoy coming back and are already looking forward to our next vacation in Maranza. A wonderful place where you can really relax.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Walderhof. The apartments are perfect for a ski holiday. The main shops are nearby and can be reached quickly by car or train. The Gitschberg/Jochtal valley is also just a few minutes' drive away, allowing quick access to a beautiful ski area. It is possible to order bread rolls and fresh milk for your apartment. The apartments are very well equipped, with a bathroom, a wardrobe, and a kitchen with seating. I highly recommend the Walderhof.

I highly recommend this establishment! The farm and chalet are magnificent. We had a most pleasant nine-night stay. Peace and quiet reign at all times. Everything was perfect; I have no negative comments to make. The manager is very welcoming and told us several interesting anecdotes. Alex, the farm dog, is adorable. We came with our one-and-a-half-year-old Frenchie, who really enjoyed his stay, as well as Alex. The bed is very comfortable and the apartment is clean. It's also very sunny. It's one of the places in Alto Adige where the sun stays the longest. The small kitchen is well-equipped and allows you to cook everything you need. There are about twenty cows and chickens on site. We were able to order fresh milk and eggs from the farm to our door. There's also a bread roll service every day. Thank you again for this stay!

Thank you for a relaxing week in a clean, cozy and practically furnished apartment. As you can imagine, the mountain idyll is gigantic and the Walderhof itself is in a quiet location. The host family is warm, friendly and open! Including dog Alex and neighbor dog Nala, who are very good-natured! Of course we enjoyed the bread roll service, the fresh milk from our own farm and the eggs laid by our own chickens. You can start hiking directly from the house, and the mountain railways, which are integrated into the guest card depending on the season, can also be reached in a few minutes by car, meaning that hikes are available in the direct, nearby and slightly further surroundings depending on the weather, desire and personal stamina. Peter, the host, always provides friendly and well-founded information about hikes and excursion destinations. We will be happy to be guests again!
