After a nice hiking tour or a day on the slopes, we will spoil you with delicious 5-course menus and specialities served in the cosy dining room. Enjoy pleasant moments with friends in the charming Stube or at the bar.

Discover the Dolomites

Piccolo Hotel in Obereggen is located directly beside the slopes and amidst a wonderful hiking area. Here you can spend some relaxed ski holidays with your family in winter or choose from numerous leisure time activities, like hiking or mountain biking, in the unique landscape of the Dolomites in summer. We recommend our guests to visit the town of Bozen with its picturesque places, numerous shops and museums.

A wonderful, family-run hotel with a comfortable interior. The dinner was truly exquisite, and you can rely on the wine recommendations. Afterwards, the well-stocked bar invites you to enjoy more fine wines and spirits and round off the day. I would especially like to emphasize the warm hospitality, which made the stay so special. The value for money is outstanding. A place to feel good and enjoy yourself. Thank you for the wonderful days in Obereggen.

I stayed at this hotel with my family. We go to the mountains every year in the summer, always staying at different hotels and locations. This small hotel was a pleasant discovery. We were particularly impressed with the cuisine, which was carefully prepared and refined (and even for me, a vegetarian, it was excellent, which is not a given in the mountains!). Welcoming rooms, a very convenient garage, and very helpful and friendly staff. We highly recommend it

I stayed at the Piccolo Hotel in Obereggen a few weeks ago and was able to appreciate the professionalism with which the establishment is managed in every way. Organization, cleanliness, food, wine cellar, and, last but not least, the friendliness and willingness to provide accurate information about the magnificent area to explore. You feel at ease. I highly recommend it.

A fine, family-run hotel nestled in the mountains. Rooms - TOP, breakfast very extensive, something for every taste. Daily changing menu - super tasty - simply fantastic! Underground parking for every vehicle, especially great for bikers. Beautiful surroundings - curves, curves, curves - biker's heart, what more could you want? A beautiful, family-run hotel with a very special charm. The rooms are state-of-the-art and absolutely spotlessly clean – truly immaculate! The service is very friendly and attentive, and you immediately feel welcome. In the evening, there's an outstanding menu with a selection of excellent wines. The view from the terrace is breathtaking and is framed by beautifully planted flowerbeds – simply pleasing to the senses. The combination of quality, warmth, and a wonderful ambiance makes this hotel a real insider tip. Great value for money – we'll definitely be back!

My husband and my brother just spent a few days at the hotel and started several tours from there. The area is beautiful, and the hotel and the team there are simply fantastic. It's a relatively small, family-run hotel with a great location and a great deal of charm. The unique cuisine is particularly noteworthy. Every day, a four-course menu with a wonderful selection. The food was so good that my husband and my brother (neither of whom eat tuna) praised this salad highly. Dear Stephan, I'm waiting for the recipe... :-) Unfortunately, my husband didn't bring it with him. Thank you so much, and I'm sure all four of us will be there soon. Small but perfectly formed. A harmonious overall package: a quiet location with a fantastic view of the mountains from the balcony, friendly and attentive service, excellent cuisine, and the vehicles (especially important for motorcyclists) are safely parked in the underground garage. Only the carpeting in the room could be problematic for allergy sufferers. Overall, very good value for money. Thanks to Stefan and the team for a wonderful time.

I stayed for five days at the end of August (motorcycling and hiking). I can confirm all the positive reviews. Modern rooms, great breakfast/dinner, and free underground parking. The owner and staff were very friendly and attentive. Best regards, Franz
