It's not a luxury place, but the atmosphere created by the few staff members, especially the incredibly friendly housekeeper and the owner, is unparalleled! You feel warmly welcomed and well cared for. We only intended to stay one night, but ended up staying for four days because it was simply wonderful. The location is fantastic, and my dog ​​thoroughly enjoyed the large garden surrounding the property! The rooms aren't large, but they're adequate, and everything is spotlessly clean. The bathrooms are newly renovated, and the shower is a delight. We'll definitely be back!

We stayed at Pension Weinberg for 11 days, and I wish I had stayed longer. The hosts are incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive. The rooms are bright, modern, and very clean. The view from our balcony—equipped with a parasol, table, and chairs—was fantastic. A huge plus is the fantastic pool, from which you can see the surrounding mountains and watch paragliders. Loungers and umbrellas are plentiful. The bus stop, which leads to either Merano or Val Passiria, is a 5-minute walk away. We booked half-board, and it was great. The breakfast buffet offers something for every taste. Dinner consists of a salad buffet, starter, main course, and dessert. You can usually choose between two dishes for the starter and main course. Here, too, the hosts are flexible and accommodating. The food is always beautifully presented. You can eat on the terrace, from where you have a wonderful view. I can wholeheartedly recommend this stay. I've been coming to the guesthouse every now and then for many years, and this year I was able to show everything to my daughter. Children are more than welcome, and the outstanding hospitality was evident here as well. It always feels a bit like coming home. Thank you so much!

An idyllic location. Perfect rooms. I got one with a balcony, and they're incredible. Clean and spacious, with a roof terrace, super pretty. The bathroom is spotless. Breakfast is included, with a wide variety of healthy options, without the legendary pastries that make you bloat. For €77 a night, the German-speaking La Italia isn't bad at all.

I originally chose it by chance for accommodation for a motorbike holiday, but I will definitely come back here again! Beautiful and modern accommodation with an amazing view, but the staff and especially the chef Václav give it 6 stars out of 5!!!

Truly "bear-like." We stayed at Pension Weinberg for the first time this summer for 14 days and had a wonderful vacation. Everything was perfect: The many regular guests, some of whom have been coming here for many years, testify to the fact that you can feel at home at Pension Weinberg! Quiet location. Our room was great: a small bay window with a seating area, a small refrigerator, electric shutters, a TV on a swivel arm, a spacious balcony, plenty of closet space, a comfortable bed, and a modern bathroom. The guesthouse has a super clean and spacious pool. Wonderful: Meals can be taken either in the dining room or on the beautiful terrace, whichever you prefer. Sitting on the terrace in the morning and enjoying the breakfast buffet with a view of the sea of flowers, blue skies, and mountains is simply wonderful. The Demetz family really strives to make their guests' stay as pleasant as possible in every way! We loved that we were able to bring our dog with us without any hassle. 100% recommendation

We finally visited this restaurant during our vacation this year because a good old friend works there. The restaurant is beautifully situated and has a truly fantastic view. The terrace railings are planted with the most beautiful petunias, an absolute feast for the eyes! The terrace is a good size, and everything is very clean and tidy both inside and out. The service and owners are very friendly and accommodating. The menu is relatively straightforward, and the dishes are easy to try, which I personally see as a positive. I think I've heard that they also offer off-the-menu items. Unfortunately, the portions are less than generous compared to our other restaurant visits. If you're very hungry, one dish won't completely fill you up. It's better to spend an extra euro or more on your plate! We therefore found the prices comparatively unreasonable, but not overpriced. The dishes all taste very good and are of high quality. For our taste, the hash browns are just too thickly sliced and not roasted enough, but that doesn't mean they're not tasty. However, they even fulfilled our special requests, for which we are very grateful. The salad bar is wonderfully varied, and there are also good options for vegetarians. The drinks and dessert selection is very good. You should definitely reserve a table for a visit, and please note that hotel guests have priority. It's better to allow a little more time. An insider tip: sit on the left "behind" the terrace; it's a very comfortable place for two, with peace and quiet and a beautiful view of the mountains. It's worth a visit!
