Our Panoramahotel Huberhof is located in a sunny and quiet location at 1,300 m just below the village of Meransen and offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains and such striking Dolomite peaks as the Peitlerkofel. You will enjoy a relaxing and eventful holiday in a family-friendly and warm atmosphere. We offer new premium double rooms and family suites. If you value nature and sustainability, you've come to the right place. We focus on renewable energies and a cuisine with a regional focus and farm-fresh products.

Adventures in the mountains & on the farm

Active holidaymakers can look forward to a wide range of hikes, panoramic trails and bike tours in summer. In winter, the ski slopes and toboggan runs of the Gitschberg Jochtal ski area as well as snowshoe hikes provide plenty of variety. Guests of the hotel also have access to a fitness room and a yoga room. Our activity programme with guided hike and wellness courses leaves nothing to be desired. For children, there is a playroom, a playground and the neighbouring family-owned farm. There are alpacas, ponies, goats, chickens and rabbits, as well as a horse paddock.

Time out with wellness & indulgence

The wellness area at the Panoramahotel Huberhof offers a 27-metre-long infinity pool with outdoor and indoor area, which is heated all year round. Kids have fun in the indoor action pool with whirlpool function and waterfall. Guests aged 16 and over can enjoy relaxing breaks in the sauna area, which comprises five saunas, two relaxation rooms and, as new highlights, an outdoor whirlpool, a cold pool with panoramic views and an outdoor relaxation oasis. We spoil guests of all ages with our extensive breakfast buffet and an afternoon buffet with homemade cakes (also gluten- and lactose-free) and savoury delicacies. In the evening, you can enjoy varied 4-course menus and a salad buffet.

As in our review from two months ago, we can only agree. The Huberhof is a beautiful property with a lovely infinity pool, perfect for relaxation. Unfortunately, relaxation was sorely lacking. Despite the prohibition against jumping into the water from the poolside or playing with balls in the pool, this rule was ignored by both toddlers and adults. We even got soaked while relaxing on the loungers outside. The constant screaming of children made spending time at the infinity pool unpleasant, as did the disregard for children in the spa area, which is exclusively for adults, and the lack of adherence to the nudity policy. Unfortunately, despite speaking to the staff, every request was ignored and met with derision. It's a shame that things haven't improved.

Fantastic hotel with a state-of-the-art spa and fitness area. The food is delicious, and the alpacas are a big hit. It's the perfect location for excursions to one of the beautiful nearby cities (Brixen, Bolzano, Merano, etc.) and also a great starting point for hikers. We'd love to come back.

Gorgeous hotel high up where the sun remains for a long time. Panoramic heated pool is the best, along with the spa and wonderful friendly service and meals. Great, very clean and comfy big rooms with stunning views. Family friendly. Highly recommend.

We were fortunate enough to spend our autumn holidays in enchanting Meransen for the second time. And it was another perfect holiday. A short drive from the Brenner Pass, a fantastic location. There wasn't a single thing to criticize about our stay.

We are thrilled! The stay was absolutely perfect. The room is lovely, the spa area is incredible, and there are fantastic extras. The staff are all incredibly attentive and friendly – ​​a huge thank you!! The yoga classes and guided sauna infusions are wonderful. The breakfast and lunch buffets are ample. Dinner is delicious! The hotel's location is perfect for hiking, walking, cycling, and more. All in all, a fantastic experience, thank you!

A beautiful place surrounded by nature! The hotel is well-maintained, with welcoming and spotlessly clean rooms and spectacular views of the valley. Breakfast and dinner are delicious, with a variety of local products. The staff is friendly and helpful. The spa with a panoramic pool is a real treat after a day of trekking.

For us, it was an all-around perfect stay. We particularly appreciated the staff (always friendly and attentive) and the absolute peace and quiet (no roads or anything like that). We loved the wellness area. There's plenty of space, a selection of saunas, a great view, etc. The staff recommended a hiking guide beforehand, and that was also a 10/10. Do hike&fly with Martin! :) All communication with the hotel beforehand was great. The food was delicious - my only suggestion: more vegetarian options. You often have a choice for each course.
