Welcome to Hotel Schallerhof in Tisens-Prissian

The Hotel Schallerhof**** is situated in a quiet, sunny hillside location in picturesque Tisens-Prissian. Surrounded by orchards and Mediterranean vegetation, it is nevertheless conveniently located between Meran and Bozen. The familiar atmosphere with warm hospitality makes our house a special kind of feel-good place. The modern architecture blends harmoniously into the natural surroundings, while bus connections and the village centre are just a few minutes away.

Pure comfort & relaxation

The comfortably furnished rooms have a shower/WC, hairdryer, balcony, satellite TV, safe, WLAN and sofa or armchair. They are also allergy-friendly and accessible by lift. Wellness lovers can relax in the year-round heated outdoor pool, Finnish outdoor sauna, infrared cabin and fitness room. In the morning you can enjoy a rich breakfast buffet and half board can be booked on a daily basis. In the evening, the son of the house prepares up tasty 3-course gourmet menus with regional and Mediterranean dishes.

Active holidays & experiencing South Tyrol

Hiking trails and cycle tours through the beautiful landscape of Meran and environs start directly from the hotel. In summer, the gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle or the Meran Thermal Baths invite you to visit, while in autumn, Törggelen evenings provide a culinary atmosphere. The Tisens-Prissian holiday region is a central starting point for hikes and cycle tours around Bozen and Meran. As our guests, you will also receive the Südtirol Guest Pass, with which you can use buses, trains and regional connections free of charge.

Our recent stay at the family-run Schallerhof felt like staying with good friends. It's truly unique how family-friendly hospitality is combined with indulgent moments (fantastic cuisine!). The location is ideal for both relaxing (pool, sunbathing lawn) and hiking and excursions. We'd be happy to return.

Lovely, family-run hotel in beautiful surroundings. Fantastic view, surrounded by fruit trees. Everything was in order - it was spotlessly clean! Delicious, fresh breakfast on the sunny terrace. Friendly and welcoming owners and staff. Thank you for a lovely stay!

If there were more stars, we would give them too. A fantastic hotel with a fantastic view of the castle in the town. A sauna, a pool, everything was there. The best part was the fantastic, delicious, fresh food every day! Very friendly staff. If you like small, intimate, and high-quality accommodations, this is the place for you!

A wonderful, warmly run, family-owned hotel in a fantastic location in South Tyrol. The service, breakfast, dinner, friendliness, cleanliness, rooms, and chalets are superb and leave nothing to be desired. Dinner is especially delightful! The hotel's peaceful location is the perfect starting point for both extensive, challenging hikes and more relaxed excursions. We have been coming to Prissian for our holidays for years and will gladly continue to be guests of the Walzl family at the Schallerhof. Thank you!

A dream vacation at Hotel Schallerhof in Prissian. Our two-week stay at the Schallerhof was simply fantastic. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the hotel's picturesque location – surrounded by idyllic orchards and offering breathtaking views of the Merano region . Besides hiking through the beautiful countryside, you can also enjoy relaxing afternoons by the heated pool. The rooms are bright, cozy, and offer magnificent mountain views. The team at the Schallerhof, led by the Walzl family, is warm and attentive, making you feel instantly welcome and well cared for. If you're looking for peace, relaxation, and unspoiled nature, the Schallerhof is the perfect place – highly recommended!

Perfect all around! The Walzl family makes you feel at home. Very hospitable, warm, and accommodating. We had a wonderful vacation. The rooms are large, modern, and very clean, with a great balcony. The dinner is a dream. We've rarely eaten such good and fresh food. Highly recommended. ️

The Schallerhof surprised us very much. The breakfast is rich and the daily changing dinner is wonderful. Even for people with celiac disease, breakfast/dinner is no problem at all. The whole team is very friendly and accommodating. It was completely consistent. Very quiet location and great hiking routes. We'll definitely come back.
