Sonus Alpis

This hotel has been one of the best experiences. The rooms are super comfortable, amazing views, top location. And to end with the best: the food, sauna and service made our stay a top experience. We wanted to extend one more night but the hotel closed for one month the day of our checkout haha

Best hotel I have ever stayed in

Our stay was amazing, the breakfast was yummy and delicious, coffee was a plus. The room was clean and welcoming.

Sonus Alpis is a lovely, affordable resort. The pleasant staff is always professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and smiling. The breakfast has unlimited choices, including fresh eggs made to order. The view is spectacular. From every window, patio and balcony. The pool was delightful and the connecting quiet and music rooms are restorative. It’s secluded, but close enough to hiking trails and points of interest. Highly recommend

The staff at Sonus Alpis is fantastic. The hotel is peaceful and the perfect end to our honeymoon. It was the most enjoyable part of our two weeks across Italy. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing, amazing, amazing, relaxing, calm and elegant, and the service is great. Its only drawback is that it is very far from the center, about 45 minutes + the road to it is difficult, but in general, the experience is legendary for those who want a few days of relaxation and calm

Perfect service!

I've rarely felt so comfortable in a hotel. The cleanliness is particularly noteworthy. The service was extremely friendly and courteous in all areas. The sauna, pool, and fitness room were impressive. The breakfast left nothing to be desired. A small, fine hotel for adults that I highly recommend.

It was absolutely wonderful! The room was clean, the view was amazing, and it was just the right distance from Ortisei, just 20 minutes away. The staff were especially friendly!! The breakfast was delicious, and the view made the food even more delicious. Be sure to use the pool and sauna! :) I'd love to come back next time I'm in the western Dolomites!

Due to the many, sometimes completely different, reviews, I also decided to leave my opinion here. Rooms: The rooms vary greatly, but we were very satisfied so far. If you're looking for clean, modern amenities, this is the wrong place. In my opinion, the different rooms are very well described on the website. We had a fantastic view of the mountains. Breakfast, Food & Bar: We thought the breakfast was great; eggs were prepared upon request, and there was a large selection of fresh fruit, vegetables, sausages, juices, tea, etc. The restaurant makes a good impression - we didn't eat there, though. The menu is rather small, and the prices are on the higher end, which should be reflected in the quality. It definitely fits the hotel. The bar is open until 11 p.m. - it's a hotel bar - nothing more, nothing less. Pool & Saunas: There are two saunas and a steam room inside the hotel. A few steps further and one floor up is a relaxation room, more loungers, a sauna with a fantastic view, and the outdoor pool. One point of criticism here would be the distances between the two locations, as well as the very limited number of loungers. Especially in bad weather, it gets very crowded inside. Conclusion: The hotel is definitely not a bargain, but it offers the best conditions for a relaxing holiday. The staff was always very friendly and tried to fulfill all wishes. They also offered tips for activities. There is plenty to explore in the surrounding area. We would love to come back – perhaps to experience the hotel at a different time of year. It's worth taking a look at the website; we found better deals there than on booking. Regarding the negative reviews... We didn't have any problems with mosquitoes, etc., but we can imagine that it can be unpleasant in some months. And yes, depending on the room, you can see in from the pool. We had no problems with cleanliness. The fact that children are not allowed is clearly evident and is certainly a reason for many to choose the hotel.
