We spent a wonderful, relaxing week at Glinzhof. The farm is stylishly furnished, and the service left nothing to be desired. We felt welcome and exceptionally well cared for from the very first minute – even with three children, which is no longer a given these days. Glinzhof Farmhouse – An Experience to Remember Before sharing my experience at Glinzhof, I'd like to make a brief introduction. When someone decides to run a hospitality business, they're making a life choice that requires commitment, dedication, and often personal sacrifice. It's a profession that requires passion, a welcoming spirit, and the ability to make every guest feel at home. Furthermore, I believe it's important to remember that when we choose to stay at a property, we are guests in the "home" of those who host us. Mutual respect, courtesy, and understanding should always guide our attitude, even when something doesn't go as expected. That said, I'll now share our positive experience at Glinzhof. We spent a five-day vacation as a couple, welcomed upon our evening arrival by Manfred, and then at dinner by his kind wife Alexia, along with the wonderful kitchen and dining room staff. I'm writing this review also with the intention of giving back, at least in part, for the time and care that Manfred and Alexia dedicated to us. The property is built almost entirely of silver fir wood, creating a rustic, warm, and welcoming atmosphere. It couldn't be otherwise, given its location at 1,500 meters above sea level on Mount San Candido, directly opposite Mount Baranci. The view is breathtaking: all the rooms overlook the Dolomites, and no photo can do justice to the true beauty of the place. The rooms are immaculate and meticulously maintained, inside and out, with finishes that reveal passion, commitment, and respect for the environment. The property offers numerous amenities: a heated indoor pool connected to the outdoor area with an infinity view of the Dolomites, wellness programs with saunas, and truly enchanting relaxation areas. Breakfast is plentiful and varied, featuring high-quality local organic products. We chose half-board (highly recommended), which allowed us to spend the days outdoors in tranquility. For dinner, we enjoyed carefully prepared dishes, prepared with passion and served with love. The menu is varied and attentive to every dietary requirement. The selection of wines, beers, grappas, and liqueurs is also excellent, mostly from the local area. Having read some reviews mentioning minor inconveniences, I'd like to share a personal opinion. I've been traveling for work for over 30 years and have stayed in all types of accommodations, from starred hotels to B&Bs. My 5-star rating for the Glinzhof is based on an objective and informed experience. Regarding, for example, the presence of a few flies: the rooms are equipped with mosquito nets, and we are immersed in nature, on a farm with animals. It's part of the authentic experience, and it wasn't an inconvenience in any way. Even the proximity of the stables doesn't generate any unpleasant odors: the cleanliness and attention to hygiene are evident. During your stay, you might even be lucky enough to be entertained musically by Marie and Max, who will ensure you have a pleasant time. Even though our vacation was a couple's, I want to say that the property is absolutely suitable for families with children of all ages. Thanks again to Manfred, Alexia, and the entire Glinzhof staff. A place that leaves an impression and where you truly want to return.

We've found our absolute favorite place here! This beautifully situated farmhouse more than met our expectations. The family atmosphere and the incredibly welcoming hosts made our stay truly special. It's a true adventure paradise for children; there's soooo much to discover, lots of animals and toys, while we adults enjoyed the peace and quiet in the cozy wellness area and the pool together, with arguably the most beautiful view. The breakfast was lovingly prepared and cozy, and the multi-course dinner was simply a delight – varied, fresh, and incredibly delicious. An all-around perfect vacation – we'll definitely be back!

It was a great stay. The room was nice and simply decorated. The wellness area was fantastic. The view was perfect. The family who runs the place is super nice and available to answer any questions. We have found a priceless gem in the Glinzhof – an oasis of peace and beauty, full of authenticity and a magnificent panorama. We are deeply grateful to Aleksia and Manfred for creating this refuge steeped in South Tyrolean tradition combined with a modern wellness area. Their warmth as hosts is so authentic and soothing, truly heartwarming. The staff are also extremely friendly. The rooms, wellness area, restaurant, and all other areas are spotlessly clean. Breakfast and dinner are excellent. We felt so comfortable at the Glinzhof that we booked our next stay there for winter 2026 on the very second day.

It's hard to describe the beauty you breathe in this place... The landscape, the view from the room you wake up to in the morning and have breakfast in, the kindness of the entire family, the pool, the food, the wooden walls, the "authentic" toys loved by the children, the smells, the animals, the organic products, the small but well-kept relaxation area, the slow pace... A true vacation from the chaotic world. A plus for the lack of a television in the room, which you don't even notice. We fell in love, and the desire to return says it all. We stayed in our camper van on a small pitch belonging to the farm. We had the opportunity to use the clean restrooms in the wellness area. Everything was very clean, and the hospitality was wonderful. We'd love to come back!

An enchanting, wonderful place! We recommend a stay in this corner of paradise to everyone. The owners are incredibly kind, and the panoramic location is unparalleled. The Glinzhof met all our expectations: a very welcoming and authentic atmosphere, spacious rooms with breathtaking views, and a large, clean, and comfortable spa area. Breakfast was good, with a variety of local and homemade products. Dinner was rich and varied, with the option of alternatives to the daily menu. A place that has remained in our hearts. We (unfortunately) only stayed at the Glinzhof for two nights. Everything was perfect from the start. We received a very friendly and welcoming welcome. There's a truly peaceful and harmonious atmosphere. The rooms (like the entire house) are made of solid wood, with a very pleasant indoor climate, and we had a great view of the mountains from our room. The wellness area is truly beautiful and lovingly designed. The food is excellent and mostly comes from the farm's own butchery or even from its own farm. You can even make your own juices for breakfast. I could go on and on. It was an all-round successful, relaxing stay, and we'll definitely be back.
