Our family-run Residence Sägemühle**** is located in the beautiful natural landscape of Prad am Stilfserjoch. Here you can enjoy a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains. and numerous leisure time activities like hiking, cycling or skiing and cross-country skiing in winter. Our cosy and light-flooded apartments and rooms are built in wood construction and are equipped with oaf wood floors as well as with hand-crafted wooden furniture.

Flats and many services for everyone on holiday

We offer apartments for up to 6 persons as well as single and double rooms. All the apartments have a balcony/terrace, underfloor heating and a fully equipped kitchenette with ceramic hob, dishwasher, microwave, water boiler and coffee machine as well as 1 double bed and sofa bed with bed linen. A bathroom with hairdryer, cosmetic mirror and fluffy towels. Besides countless possibilities for sport and to play, like sauna, indoor pool, fitness room, recreation room, children’s playgrounds and the rental of equipment for various sports, our guests are offered a café-restaurant, a dinner restaurant, a pizzeria, a mini market, facilities to wash and dry clothes and ski equipment and a bike depot.

Ideal starting point for hiking and biking

Furthermore, at Residence Sägemühle in Prad, you are offered free WLAN and parking spaces. A lot of additional services, which will make your holidays in Vinschgau an unforgettable experience, are included too. Our apartments and rooms are located nearby the Stilfserjoch National Park and the impressive Ortler massif. So, it is a perfect starting point for exciting trips and activities in the unique mountain landscape of Vinschgau both in winter and in summer.

We spent a week skiing at the Sägemühle during the school holidays and rented a spacious, new apartment. The apartment was fantastic! We were delighted with the two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and cozy living room. A small suggestion: The shower water could have been a bit warmer, and a few more dishes in the kitchen would have been the icing on the cake. Despite these minor issues, it was a 5-star experience – highly recommended! The campsite is only about a 30-minute drive from Sulden and is a wonderful place to relax and unwind. We also found several good restaurants within easy walking distance. Thank you for the wonderful and enjoyable stay! We would love to come back again.

We stayed with our camper for a week to celebrate New Year's Eve. The campsite has all the amenities you need for a relaxing holiday, and the staff is friendly and always available. The bus stop is just steps away, and buses run regularly. Recommended

We returned yesterday with our caravan in tow. We've been to a number of campsites, but never found one like this. Simply perfect. Beautifully large pitches, electricity billed on a pay-as-you-go basis, grey water drainage with a grid on the pitch conveniently located for the caravan, free automatic chemical toilet drain, free dishwashing facilities, including a dishwasher, bathrooms with enclosed showers and sinks, toilets with toilet paper, soap, and a hairdryer. Free entry to the pool with water features. Nice restaurant with a pizzeria, also available for takeout. Once we've finished the winter season, I'll definitely be back in the summer.

We recommend this campsite – ideal for both families with children and those seeking peace and quiet and connection with nature. ️ A big plus is its location in the center of Prad am Stilfserjoch – quiet, mountain views, and close proximity to nature, while also being a good base for excursions, skiing (ski slopes are 15-25 km away), hiking, and proximity to a shopping center. ️ The campsites are spacious, with access to electricity and water. We were there during the holiday season, and the water was disconnected during that time, and electricity cost €0.90/kWh. ️ The campsite has an indoor swimming pool with warm water, a sauna, and a restaurant. ️ Very clean and well-maintained. ️ The staff is exceptionally friendly. ️ A big plus for the sanitary facilities, which are regularly cleaned and in very good condition - each shower cubicle provides privacy (private bathrooms are also available for rent). An additional plus is the disinfection system in each toilet. ️ In addition, we have washing machines/dryers (5€) and a space for drying clothes, an ironing board, and a storage room for ski equipment, etc. ️ For children, there is a well-maintained outdoor playground. Unfortunately, in winter, there is no indoor play area for younger children. ️ For teenagers, there is a room where they can play table football or air hockey.

Highly recommended. Friendly welcome. The campsite is very quiet and beautiful. It's especially suitable in winter as the sun shines all day. The swimming pool is pleasantly warm and very clean. The same goes for the toilets and washrooms. Overall, a wonderful campsite.

The campsite is beautifully situated and offers both shady and sunny pitches. Public transport connections are very good (just a 5-minute walk to two bus lines). The reception staff and the manager are very friendly and helpful. The indoor pool is very nice, although the control panel for the bubble loungers is in dire need of updating. Unfortunately, we were not impressed at all with the sanitary facilities. While they were always very clean, the overall equipment is probably 20 to 30 years old. Showering in a plastic cubicle, for example, is a no-go for us. Due to the facilities in both sanitary buildings – although, as mentioned, they were always very clean – we would not return to the campsite until further notice. However, if newer or more modern sanitary facilities are not so important to you, Camping Residence Sägemühle is a very nice and well-managed campsite.
