Welcome to Camping Sägemühle in Prad

Camping Sägemühle**** in Prad am Stilfserjoch is a family-run campsite located in the Vinschgau Valley, South Tyrol, directly next to the Stelvio National Park. Situated in a quiet and sunny location at 900 metres above sea level and only 300 metres from the village centre, it is the perfect place for a relaxing yet active holiday in both summer and winter. Guests can choose from spacious camping pitches with electricity and water connections, rental caravans, wooden chalets, wooden bungalows, and apartments – ideal for campers and comfort-oriented travellers alike.

Wellness, Culinary Delights & Services

The campsite offers modern, well-maintained sanitary facilities, children’s bathrooms and private bathrooms for rent. Relaxation is guaranteed with an indoor swimming pool featuring waterfall and jetstream, sauna, steam bath, and fitness room. Free high-speed fibre-optic Wi-Fi is available throughout the campsite. Culinary delights await guests in the à la carte restaurant, the pizzeria (also takeaway), and the bar & café. The mini market offers fresh bread, breakfast essentials, South Tyrolean wines and daily necessities. The village centre of Prad is within walking distance. Free high-speed fibre-optic Wi-Fi is available throughout the campsite.

Outdoor Activities & Fun at the Stilfserjoch

The location in the Ortler region makes Camping Sägemühle an ideal base for hiking, cycling and mountain biking in summer. In winter, ski resorts such as Sulden, cross-country ski trails and winter hiking paths are easily accessible. Information and services for active guests are provided on site. Families appreciate the three playgrounds, a youth room with table football, and children’s entertainment during the summer months. The campsite is safe, well organised and ideal for families with children.

Highly recommended. Friendly welcome. The campsite is very quiet and beautiful. It's especially suitable in winter as the sun shines all day. The swimming pool is pleasantly warm and very clean. The same goes for the toilets and washrooms. Overall, a wonderful campsite.

The campsite is beautifully situated and offers both shady and sunny pitches. Public transport connections are very good (just a 5-minute walk to two bus lines). The reception staff and the manager are very friendly and helpful. The indoor pool is very nice, although the control panel for the bubble loungers is in dire need of updating. Unfortunately, we were not impressed at all with the sanitary facilities. While they were always very clean, the overall equipment is probably 20 to 30 years old. Showering in a plastic cubicle, for example, is a no-go for us. Due to the facilities in both sanitary buildings – although, as mentioned, they were always very clean – we would not return to the campsite until further notice. However, if newer or more modern sanitary facilities are not so important to you, Camping Residence Sägemühle is a very nice and well-managed campsite.
