Light & Music Show Brixen

This winter, the Light & Music Show will once again transport visitors into an imaginative world of colours, sounds and emotions. Following the varied light shows of previous years – from colourful elephants and hummingbirds to stories about time – the event is now celebrating its 10th anniversary. 

To mark the occasion, a brand-new show is on the programme this year. The music was specially composed by Giorgio Moroder, the award-winning producer from Gröden. He has written legendary soundtracks for numerous films such as Top Gun, Flashdance and The Neverending Story. The French light artists Spectaculaires – Allumeurs d'Image provide impressive visual staging for the story.

The story of the Light & Music Show 2025/26

This year, the light show in Brixen accompanies the little creature Oops on his adventurous journey through luminous dream worlds, mysterious castles and sparkling gift factories. It is a touching tale of longing, imagination and the inner child, which leaves visitors amazed and dreaming.

• Performances daily at 5.30 pm and 6.30 pm
• Additional performances on Saturdays and on 7 December at 7.30 pm
• Location: Courtyard of the Hofburg Palace in Brixen
• Duration: approx. 20 minutes
• No shows on 24 and 25 December 2025
• Online ticket sales available
• Family Week during the first week of performances with discounted tickets for the whole family

A highlight for young and old – barrier-free and with heart: €1 per ticket (or €0.50 per child ticket) will be donated to UNICEF.
