Just a few minutes’ walk from the old town, an atmospheric concert evening unfolds, where music, architecture and Italian aperitivo flair come together.
Mozart & Vivaldi in a Renaissance castle
The evening begins with a welcome aperitif in the castle gardens. Small Italian specialities such as olives, Parmesan, grissini and taralli are served alongside a drink of your choice. The musical programme then moves to the historic courtyard of Maretsch Castle, where a string quartet performs selected works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Antonio Vivaldi.
In 2026, the Castle Concerts will take place on 4 and 18 September, amongst other dates. The combination of classical music, Renaissance architecture and a summery evening atmosphere makes the concerts a special cultural experience in South Tyrol’s capital.
The Castle Concerts in Bozen are therefore ideal both for lovers of classical music and for anyone wishing to discover Bozen’s cultural side in an extraordinary setting.
