Zuid-Tirol fietsroute
De Zuid-Tirol Fietsroute verbindt zeven Zuid-Tiroolse steden en biedt actieve vakantiegangers de mogelijkheid om de hele diversiteit van Zuid-Tirol te ontdekken tijdens een afwisselende fietstocht. Fietsers kunnen kiezen uit twee routes die elk uit vijf etappes bestaan.
Route A begint in het mooie Fuggerstadje Vipiteno en eindigt in Glurns, het kleinste stadje van Zuid-Tirol, terwijl route B andersom is. In de tussenliggende etappes maak je ook kennis met Bruneck, Brixen, Klausen, Merano en Meran. In beide varianten biedt de Zuid-Tirol Fietsroute een breed scala aan culturele bezienswaardigheden zoals kastelen, paleizen en musea, maar ook natuurschoon - van alpiene ruigheid tot mediterrane zachtheid, van indrukwekkende Dolomietenpanorama's tot wijn- en boomgaarden en schilderachtige meren.
Bijzonder comfortabel
De Zuid-Tirol fietsroute is geschikt voor alle fietsers, van racefietsers tot mountainbikers. Vooral e-bikers genieten van etappes waarvan de lengte optimaal is afgestemd op de levensduur van hun accu.
Als je zonder eigen fiets op vakantie gaat, kun je in alle plaatsen langs de Zuid-Tiroolse fietsroute fietsen van alle soorten huren. De fietsverhuurwinkels van Zuid-Tirol Rad en Papin Sport bevinden zich meestal in de buurt van het treinstation. Aan het einde van de laatste etappe lever je de gehuurde fiets gewoon weer in bij een van de verhuurpunten van de betreffende organisatie.
Rust voor vermoeide fietsers
Langs de Zuid-Tirol Fietsroute vind je fietsvriendelijke accommodaties die niet ver van het fietspad liggen en aan extra kwaliteitscriteria voldoen, zoals een veilige stalling voor fietsen, een basisgereedschapskist of een wasservice. In samenwerking met BikeHotels Zuid-Tirol wordt het aanbod aan fietsvriendelijke accommodaties voortdurend uitgebreid.
