Our family-run Hotel Schaurhof*** in Sterzing is located in an especially quiet and idyllic position, only a few metres from the historical city centre of Sterzing. In the hotel’s surroundings, you will find three popular hiking and skiing areas. For our guests, we offer comfortable rooms, suites and family suites (2-5 persons) offering any comfort you need for unforgettable holidays in the South Tyrolean mountains.

In our traditional “Südtiroler Gasthaus” inn we pamper you with traditional dishes prepared by the host Georg himself using regional and seasonal ingredients. Preferably, Georg uses products from the proper farm or from the farmers in the environs. The special atmosphere of our typical Tyrolean restaurant dating back to 1908, partially with arcades, make each meal become a very special experience.

For some relaxation and regenerating moments, we offer a garden with solar-heated and chlorine-free bio outdoor pool (June-September), sauna house with Finnish panoramic sauna and a Kneipp streamlet with barefoot trail. Our small guests will look to our playground and to our playroom with 100 m² in size. The environs of our Hotel Schaurhof offers a varied offer of outdoor activities at any season of the year. Visit the picturesque centre of Sterzing or discover the magnificent natural landscape of Rosskopf hiking and skiing area as well as in Ratschings, Ridnaun, Pflersch and Pfitsch.
