From the very first moment, we knew: We'll definitely be back. Even upon arrival, we felt more than just guests. The warm welcome immediately put us at ease and was the perfect start to our short break. The staff truly impressed us. Every single employee was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always seemed to be there at just the right moment. Our wishes were often fulfilled before we even thought of them – this made our stay truly special. Although it's all-inclusive, the quality is simply exceptional. The food is Michelin-star quality, beautifully presented, and a real culinary highlight. The drinks are also high-quality and carefully selected. The hotel itself immediately captivated us: stylish, spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and with spacious rooms where you simply feel at home. Because the hotel is small, it has a quiet, intimate, and incredibly cozy atmosphere – the perfect place to unwind and relax. And then there's the location! The view of Merano is priceless and thrilled us every single day. You just want to stop and soak in the view. In short: This hotel impressed us in every way. It feels like a place you'll want to return to again and again – and that's exactly what we'll do.

Simply wow! Our stay at Hotel Avidea was absolutely perfect. Thank you again to everyone for making our stay so wonderful. Food: The food was a highlight throughout. Breakfast offered a large and high-quality selection, including a variety of freshly prepared egg dishes, and the coffee was excellent. Lunch was also very generous, featuring both hot and cold options, a combination of buffet and à la carte. Dinner was fantastic, easily comparable to a Michelin-starred restaurant. The luxury all-inclusive concept truly covers everything, allowing guests to enjoy a wide selection of exquisite cocktails and an extensive wine list. Service: The service was simply wonderful. The entire team was incredibly attentive, warm, and personable, making us feel instantly at ease. We would especially like to commend Christine and Serena, who made our dinners even more special each evening with their incredibly kind and friendly manner. Dinner was fantastic, easily comparable to a Michelin-starred restaurant. Room: The room was very nice and spacious, and the view of the mountain panorama, over which the sun rises in the morning, was simply breathtaking. The large balcony is an additional highlight, offering plenty of space and perfect for relaxing. Spa: The spa area is surprisingly large for a relatively small hotel, featuring two wonderfully warm pools where you can truly unwind. In addition, there are three saunas and a steam room, all offering ample space. There are plenty of loungers in each area, so you never have to worry about finding a spot. The sauna infusions were also excellent and perfectly complemented the spa experience. In short: a hotel that excels in every aspect, one you'd want to book again immediately, and which we can wholeheartedly recommend.

I would particularly like to highlight the beautiful wellness area: The rooftop pool with its view of the surroundings is simply stunning, and the indoor pool was also mostly pleasantly empty – perfect for relaxing. The sauna area is very well-maintained and truly invites you to unwind. The food was excellent: regional, high-quality cuisine with three different menu options in the evening, a delicious afternoon snack with plenty of cakes, and a very healthy, varied breakfast. The drinks selection also leaves nothing to be desired – the cocktails were great, the beer excellent, and the menu generally very extensive. The hotel itself is in a quiet location and ideal for relaxation. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive – their every need was practically anticipated. My room was always clean and lovingly decorated. A real highlight was the whirlpool in the room – with 38-degree warm water, pure relaxation! Overall, the atmosphere is very pleasant and intimate. If you're looking for peace, quiet, and relaxation, this is the place for you. The only minor drawback: To get to the sauna area and the indoor pool, you have to walk right through the hotel – a bit inconvenient, especially in a bathrobe. Furthermore, there's unfortunately no service staff in the spa area. It would be nice if someone would stop by occasionally – maybe once an hour – to take orders. Nevertheless, overall, this is a wonderful hotel that I can wholeheartedly recommend. I'll definitely be back!

We visited Avidea for our honeymoon and without a doubt, it is one of the best places we have ever had the pleasure of staying at. If you are considering travelling to South Tyrol, Avidea is a must, our only regret is not staying longer. The hotel is perfectly located with an incredible view from every angle, whilst also being close to a town as well as lovely hike options and vineyards. The room, facilities, and the food was all incredible. All of the staff went above and beyond to make sure we felt special on our honeymoon, it truly was an incredible stay. The flowers in the room were some of the most beautiful flowers we had ever received. We loved the chocolates, strawberries champagne included in the honeymoon package and little touches they had incorporated to make it as memorable as possible. We honestly can’t fault a thing and would highly recommend Avidea to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. We really hope to return in the future.

We particularly enjoyed the breakfast and dinner; everything was fresh, high-quality, and lovingly prepared. There was something special and new to "taste" every day. Our room with a large balcony was modern and comfortable, with a magical view of the valley. A lovely highlight, in addition to the indoor pool, sauna, fitness room, and wellness area, was the rooftop terrace with a pool, which we even made use of in the beautiful weather in October. We 100% recommend the hotel and look forward to our next stay here.

I spent a few days at the Avidea Hotel, but unfortunately due to the unfavorable weather we left early, however I would like to express my opinion on this excellent structure, thank the owner for not charging me any penalty even though I left the hotel early, also thank all the impeccable, polite and professional staff, 5-star food.

Review: Hotel Avidea, South Tyrol (5 stars, adults only) This is our third time staying at the Hotel Avidea. We are particularly impressed by the stunning location. You step out of the hotel and find yourself directly surrounded by nature with numerous hiking trails, without needing a car. We also find the manageable size and quiet location of this adults-only hotel very pleasant. The suites are modern, spacious, and feature large balconies with stunning views. An absolute highlight is the rooftop pool area: stylish loungers, a very nice pool, and a stunning view of the mountains. However, during our current stay, we had two rainy days, and this reveals one of the hotel's weaknesses. The rooftop pool is unusable in bad weather due to the lack of any roof. The indoor and outdoor pools, as well as the wellness area, are also too small for a hotel of this category, even when operating at full capacity. Therefore, the offerings seem severely limited when it rains. Another point of criticism concerns the parking options. Covered parking spaces are limited, and the underground parking garage is subject to a fee. We consider this unreasonable for a 5-star hotel. At comparable wellness hotels in South Tyrol and Austria, a garage parking space is always included. The culinary offerings also impressed us less this time than in previous years. Both the selection and the taste have diminished. Overall, we felt the value for money was no longer as good as before. We would also like to see a service employee regularly present at the rooftop pool to take drink orders. With an all-inclusive package, it shouldn't be necessary to fetch drinks yourself; that significantly detracts from the relaxation. We would like to highlight the consistently friendly and courteous staff, as well as the cleanliness in all areas. Anyone looking for a fantastic location, peace and quiet, and a modern ambience in good weather will certainly be happy at the adults-only Hotel Avidea. In bad weather, however, the hotel's wellness area clearly shows its weaknesses. Conclusion: A very nice adults-only hotel in a prime location with a fantastic rooftop pool, friendly staff, and modern suites. Ideal for a sun and nature holiday, but with limitations in bad weather and an overall less than ideal value for money.
