The mountain Hotel Johanneshof is located in Antholz Valley in South Tyrol and provides an infinite range of proposals for your holiday. Whether you love the mountain life and are looking for a hiking holiday or you prefer wellness and relaxation, here you are still in the right place.

Beautiful views and attention to detail

Our comfortable rooms and suites are furnished cosily with natural spruce wood. The small but cosy wellness area invites to relax and offers a Finnish sauna, a steam bath, a whirlpool and a relaxation room with tea corner. We pamper our guests with fine Italian food and typical dishes of South Tyrol. You can finish your evening with pleasant chats, perhaps in the company of new friends in our bar.

Fairytale landscapes

Nature lovers and active holidaymakers find countless possibilities in the environs of our house. In winter the Antholz Valley is a fantastic snowy winter landscape with cross-country ski runs, snowshoe hikes and the popular biathlon centre. Furthermore you can enjoy a family friendly ski lift and a ski bus, which brings you in 15 minutes to the big skiing area Kronplatz. The green meadows and woods provide numerous hikes and mountain bike tours in summer.

Feels like home ️
A very welcoming family-run hotel, everyone is very kind, especially the young and enthusiastic son. Delicious food, spotlessly clean rooms (ours had a fantastic view). There's a bar where you can sit and play a few board games after dinner.
We didn't have a chance to visit the spa.
We can't wait to come back!!!

We stayed 5 nights at this splendid hotel in Anterselva di Mezzo.
I agree with other guests' reviews:
- The location and view of the Anterselva Valley are unparalleled.
- Excellent food, both the themed evenings and the à la carte menu.
- The staff were friendly and attentive, from the owners to the rest of the staff. Special mention goes to Andra, the waiter, who, in addition to being an excellent waiter, is also a great bartender!
- The impeccable cleanliness of the rooms made it feel like home.
I'd like to point out that the rooms didn't have a minibar, but since we have a small baby, we needed to keep our milk cool. The owner brought us a minibar in our room in less than 5 minutes.
We'll definitely be back ️

I stayed at this hotel for two days in August and will definitely return when I'm back in the area!!!
Spacious, welcoming rooms, spotlessly clean.
The owners and staff are extremely kind and attentive to their guests!
The food is excellent, compliments to the chef and all the staff!
I had the pleasure of participating in the Canederli Evening....Delicious!
What more can I say...I highly recommend it!!!!!

Spent 1 night by chance. Nice hotel, nice structure, it has a garage for motorcycles with elevator to the rooms. The strong point is definitely the staff, attentive, friendly, professional but above all welcoming. Excellent and plentiful dinner with a buffet. Sweet and savory breakfast with lots of choice. Excellent cleanliness of the rooms. Two small flaws, more related to my needs than real defects: 1. The hotel is on the road and inevitably you can hear the passage, I think more on weekends. It must be said that for my heat I slept with the windows wide open; 2. I am wider than I am tall (and it happens) and the bed against the wall was a bit narrow, turning around I elbowed the wall several times and I don't want my neighbor to be angry with me. That said, it remains a nice hotel.

The staff were very friendly, the hotel was absolutely beautiful, and the food was excellent. I highly recommend it and will return.
P.S.: There's a bidet in the bathroom, 100 extra points!

Located outside the village, on the meadows, but not isolated, a beautiful structure, large and bright room, excellent cuisine, very pleasant, super breakfast that is not often found like this. Very pleasant outdoor areas, on the meadows, you appreciate not having other houses nearby. In short, an ideal place, a perfect three-star and managed with great care. The only flaw, few electricity sockets in the common areas. You stay there for a few days and you want to go back the next day. Another top point: in the garage, space equipped for bikes.

A very nice and modern hotel. The hosts are very friendly and make you feel at home. The food is excellent, and the menus are unusual. Dietary preferences are catered for. We have been guests for many years and always look forward to spending our holidays there.

Excellent!
We were there on our racing bikes and had a wonderful week.
The rooms are tastefully decorated and quiet, the location is top-notch, and the owners are pleasant and welcoming.
A highlight is the cuisine – 5 stars for the delicious food. We'll be back.
