Hotel Waldhof

The Hotel Waldhof was an excellent choice for our South Tyrol vacation this year, as became clear upon arrival: They were well-prepared, and we received a warm welcome, including a welcome drink. Furthermore, the Hotel Waldhof scores highly in many other ways: A clean, spacious, and tastefully furnished room ("Dolomit") with good amenities (refrigerator, ample storage space, good Wi-Fi) and a fantastic view south towards Kronplatz. Good parking facilities (plenty of underground and outdoor spaces available). A bus stop for the city bus to Bruneck (travel time approx. 10 minutes) is right in front of the hotel. A very well-maintained wellness/fitness area with a stunning pool complex (indoor and outdoor, including plenty of sun loungers), good fitness equipment, a ping-pong table, and various saunas. Friendly and welcoming service staff and a wonderful host family who were always happy to chat. Everyone is very professional, yet maintains a warm and personal atmosphere. Good parking facilities (plenty of underground and outdoor spaces). As part of the half-board package (a tip!): A superb breakfast buffet with everything your heart desires. Everything is fresh, and much of it comes from regional sources. Delicious coffee specialties, juices, muesli, salmon, egg dishes, homemade cakes, etc., are also available for guests with allergies (e.g., lactose- and gluten-free products). A creative, daily changing four-course dinner menu with an antipasti buffet (several dishes to choose from) is an absolute culinary highlight—simply superb. First-class Mediterranean cuisine is skillfully combined with South Tyrolean specialties. A gala dinner is offered once a week, including a sparkling wine reception beforehand. Drink prices are reasonable. What's difficult to put into words is the incredibly welcoming atmosphere that sets in so quickly. You can tell that this hotel is well-organized and run with a great deal of passion and love. Creative, daily changing four-course dinner menu with an antipasti buffet (several dishes to choose from) is an absolute culinary highlight. In conclusion: We had a wonderful holiday in South Tyrol, thanks in large part to the Pesskoller-Siessl family and the entire Waldhof team. Very nice family-run hotel, extremely friendly, it was a successful and relaxing holiday.

We received a warm welcome, and our questions and requests were always answered with love (they took their time to do so). The whole family is involved. The food and service were beyond first-class. The spacious wellness area is a great place to unwind. The relaxation area is divided into several sections, so there's no disruption or space constraints. The indoor/outdoor pool was also pleasantly warm. The room was perfectly laid out with very comfortable beds. We went hiking every day and couldn't get enough of the many trails in the area. Definitely a strong recommendation :-)

Very nice hotel with friendly staff. The rooms are well-equipped. The restaurant table is always the same every day, which is very pleasant. The food is highly recommended and very uniquely presented. It's definitely a feast for the eyes. We used the indoor and outdoor pools every day. All in all, I highly recommend the hotel.

Absolutely. Very friendly and attentive service. The hotel is a family-run business. The atmosphere is always top-notch. Excellent food! We'd love to come back next time we go to South Tyrol.

This place was nicer than expected. The rooms are great and the view was awesome. The restaurant serves great food as well. I only stayed one night so I didn't even enjoy the pool.
