In Algund near Meran, you can buy these delicacies directly from the local farmers as well as from South Tyrolean producers each year in autumn. The traditional “Farmer’s market” in Algund will take place from 23 to 26 October 2025 on the Church Square.
Each day from 9 am to 5 pm, the stands offer bacon and sausages, cheese products, bread specialities, apiculture products, liquors and distillates, jams and much more. Of course, the farmers will tell you more about their products and the methods of cultivation, harvesting and processing.
