Pustertal fietspad
In totaal is de Pustertal fietsroute van Rio di Pusteria naar Lienz in Oost-Tirol 105 km lang. Maar maak je geen zorgen, de route hoeft niet in één dag afgelegd te worden, hij is verdeeld in drie verschillende etappes.
Etappe 1 van Rio di Pusteria naar Bruneck
De eerste etappe brengt fietsers van Rio di Pusteria naar Vandoies en over een korte klim naar Chienes en vandaar via Ehrenburg naar St. Lorenzen en Bruneck (25,5 km).
2e etappe van Bruneck naar Innichen
De tweede etappe begint in Bruneck. Deze gaat via Perca naar Olang en via Welsberg, Niederdorf en Toblach naar Innichen, waar de etappe na 33,5 km eindigt.
Etappe 3 van Innichen naar Lienz
De laatste etappe leidt daarentegen van Innichen over de grens naar Sillian en verder naar Lienz. De route van 44 km kan op de terugweg ook met de trein worden afgelegd.
Natuurlijk zijn er genoeg rustpunten en picknickplaatsen langs de fietsroute in het Pustertal. Je hoeft niet alle etappes in één keer te fietsen, het zijn ook mooie individuele fietstochten.
