Residence Mathilda

Residence Mathilda is located in the small village of Vetzan, which belongs to the municipality of Schlanders. Our house offers marvellous views of the apple orchards and the mountains of Vinschgau and is the ideal starting point for a variety of hiking and biking tours. Whether in the inviting wellness area or in the well-tended garden, on the sunny panoramic terrace or in your cosy room – we have many beautiful places for relaxing time-outs on holiday. Services include free WLAN in the lobby, on the sun terrace and in every room, free parking in the garage or outside, as well as the VinschgauCard for free use of public transport in South Tyrol and numerous discounts on lift tickets, museums and much more.

Our comfortable rooms and suites all have a balcony or garden and are cosily furnished with wooden furniture (spruce, cherry or walnut) and high-quality fabrics. With the wellness basket with bathrobes and sauna towels in your room, you are well-equipped for our wellness oasis: the indoor swimming pool, which is finished in elegant white Laas marble, with whirlpool and panoramic view, the Finnish sauna, the steam bath and the garden with biotope, sunbathing lawn and sun loungers invite you to relax in the Residence Mathilda. If you want to do even more for your well-being, make an appointment for a massage. Culinary delights also await our guests: at the lively breakfast buffet in the morning and the gourmet half-board menu in the evening.

Residence Mathilda is ideal for a hiking or biking holiday in Vinschgau. We rent rucksacks, hiking poles and maps as well as city bikes, children's bikes and GPS devices with bike tours. We are also happy to provide personalised hiking tips and have our own mountain hut, the Latscher Alm. A bike depot with a small workshop, a bike washing area and a free bike washing service are also available. For a fee, we offer our guests the opportunity to take part in bike tours with a guide 7 days a week. Fully MTBs and e-bikes are also available for hire.
