The Hotel Bergland***S is located in Steinhaus, Ahrntal, on the southern side of the Zillertal Alps, just a step from the skiing area Klausberg and in an ideal location for many walking and bike tours in the surroundings.

Immersed in nature, our hotel is the perfect choice for those who love sports and spending holidays in the open air, without having to forego cosy comfort. Our structure also offers a spa called "Bergquelle" with indoor pool, sauna, Turkish steam bath, infrared cabin, whirlpool and a relaxation area.

Single, double and family rooms are available for your stay. Each room is equipped with shower, balcony, telephone, TV, toilet and hairdryer. After a good and rich breakfast, there are many activities waiting for you in the near distance. For instance, you can go hiking or climbing in the surrounding mountains or visit Taufers Castle or the mine and the climatic gallery in Prettau.  In the evening, we will spoil you with a delicious 3-course menu of your choice as part of the half-board programme.

The combination of old and new in the hotel, the freshness of the food, the menu suggestions, the cleanliness, the information about the town and the surrounding area itself—everything here still makes sense. I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and the experience fully met my expectations. It's 15-20 minutes from Campo Tures and Casere, and is well served by bus 450 (the Cadipietra stop is just a few hundred meters away in the town center). Despite being located on the main road, it's very quiet and peaceful. The room was excellent, with underfloor heating in the bathroom, which is generally very modern and has an excellent shower. The large balcony, comfortable bed, and TV were also included. The breakfast was varied and plentiful, with both sweet and savory options (as is traditional in South Tyrolean hotels). Dinner was truly excellent, with a large buffet of appetizers of all kinds, including hot broth and creamy spreads. Then there was a first course, second course with side dish, and dessert. The dishes were all delicious and prepared by the chef/owner Armin. The staff was always very kind and helpful, and considering some of the prices seen in the Aurina Valley, their price was more than adequate for the quality of service provided. No complaints to report; I hope to return to this beautiful and welcoming establishment!

Hotel managed not only by a chef... But also by a musician. In fact, we attended a typical Tyrolean evening with the help of "special" instruments ... Very fun... And what about the morning welcome for my birthday... Simply super... The hotel is clean.. Delicious food... There is also a Spa.. Very nice and a swimming pool which is the best... I forgot the most convenient thing... The bus stop very close... Useful for reaching the various trails

We spent a week at this wonderful hotel. From the very first moment, we felt very comfortable. We received a very warm welcome from the owner upon our arrival, enjoyed a superb breakfast, and a varied and lovingly prepared dinner menu. The wellness area left nothing to be desired; everything was very attractive and clean. We were very satisfied overall, which was also helped by the very nice, friendly, and approachable staff. We spent a wonderful week at the Hotel Bergland. We received a very warm welcome from the owner. Our room was large and well-equipped. The food was very good and varied – typical South Tyrolean! The entire staff was friendly and accommodating. Excellent! We highly recommend the Hotel Bergland. We will definitely return. Thank you very much.

My family and friends and I stayed for 6 days at this family-run hotel. The attention to detail was impeccable, the food excellent (a varied and plentiful breakfast, a delicious dinner with excellent choices), and the entire staff were all extremely welcoming and kind. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean, with very comfortable beds. There's also a wonderful wellness center. Highly recommended for a truly special vacation at a fair price. ️️

Just returned from the Aurina Valley. This was our second year at the Bergland Hotel. Everything was well organized. Delicious breakfast and dinner. Friendly and helpful staff. Simple, well-maintained, and always clean rooms. We can only say that the owner, Armin, is an excellent host while also maintaining a high level of professionalism as a hotelier and chef! Thanks again from Emilio, my wife, and the team.

I can't find anything negative about this hotel, great food, clean rooms, nice view of the river, beautiful outside and inside, the people of the village are very kind and have a lot of fun, I don't have much to say but this was the best hotel I've ever stayed in.
