A challenging access road and a very tight parking lot. Otherwise, a good location, attractive amenities, a nice pool, and friendly hosts. Excellent value for money.

We have just returned after a week to spend Christmas in Merano, at the Gilf apartment, brand new, consisting of a double bedroom with a French window leading to the terrace and a window, large bathroom with window, bidet, toilet, large shower, sink and spacious furniture. Finally, the kitchen is equipped with everything, 4 burner induction hob, dishwasher, moka, kettle, toaster, some supplies such as salt, sugar, vinegar, herbal teas, spices, dish detergent; to the side, small table and sofa bed. From the balcony you can see the castle and there are two chairs, a table and a drying rack. Everything was scrupulously cleaned, one of the cleanest apartments I have ever found in my life. Finally. Soft terry towels and bag sheets both in delightful wisteria colours Despite our shoulder and back problems, we slept very well in the bed which also has a thin topper. Very, very warm apartment. LCD TV both in the bedroom and in the kitchen. Parking inside the private and fenced courtyard. The direct access from the gate to the pedestrian path that leads in various directions is very nice. To go to the center you can take a beautiful 900 meter walk or take bus no. 3 near the house. Tactical position because it is almost in the center and close to many beautiful excursions with the convenience of using the buses for free thanks to the card issued by the owner. In summer there is a nice swimming pool. Mrs. Knoll is really kind and helpful, very discreet, you only see her if you look for her! Animal lover. Excellent price, lower than others. We returned to this welcoming property for five days in May in the Zeno apartment Very spacious apartment on three sides, this too obviously very clean and new and everything is carefully sanitized with steam. It has a kitchen equipped with everything, microwave oven, toaster, electric water kettle, moka and American coffee machine, dishwasher and many household items, four-burner induction hob and also oven. Large dining table with corner bench and chairs Very large room with sofa bed and truly huge LCD TV!!! The room opens onto the first balcony overlooking the swimming pool and Zeno castle and has a table with two armchairs. The bathroom with large window is huge with large shower, bidet, toilet and sink with plenty of space to place products. There is also a hairdryer and soft towels and liquid hand soap. The room is also very spacious with a large duvet wardrobe with beautiful duvet covers. From the room there is access to the other balcony with a view of Castel Zeno and this too has a table and two chairs plus a drying rack. The balconies are also paved for greater hygiene. The exit to access the pedestrian path which leads in various directions and also to the centre, is at the same level as the apartment, so there are no steps. This time too, thanks to the guest pass, we never used the car because the bus, which is very close, takes you everywhere, both to the surrounding villages and to the center or to the market or even to Castel Trauttsmanndorff which you absolutely must visit both inside and outside. Mrs Knol and her partner are truly hospitable and kind and never intrusive I would say that nothing is missing and in summer there is a large and beautiful swimming pool ready to refresh us, always at a good price.

The apartment is managed by the very kind Mrs. Knoll, always smiling and helpful. New, super clean, in fact, spotlessly clean, with attention to detail, a well-equipped kitchen, a bedroom with access to the terrace, and a bathroom with a window, bidet, shower, and toilet, as well as a hairdryer. Comfortable bed with a topper. For summer, there's a swimming pool right in front of the castle in the garden. Parking in the fenced garden. Conveniently located, the gate leads to the pedestrian path that leads to the historic center in a beautiful 15-minute walk, a very pleasant walk. Free public transportation and a bus stop very close to the house, providing easy access to the center and other destinations. Well insulated, so you can't hear anything. Reasonable price given the location. Excellent restaurant and pizzeria 200 meters away. A bus ride takes you to Trauttmansdorff Castle, which in winter offers a unique spectacle with its thousands of light displays. Wonderful experience. Maurizio, Sonia.

For the second consecutive year, we stayed at this beautiful two-room apartment during the Christmas period. The recently renovated and tastefully furnished apartment comprises a kitchen, living room with sofa, double bedroom, and two large balconies. Parking is available on the property, and during the summer months, guests can use the private pool. The apartment is conveniently located just a pleasant 10-minute walk from the city center. The owner is very kind and helpful. We felt right at home.

Clean, comfortable and hospitable

Wonderful place, I felt right at home. The apartment is much better in person than in the photos: functional, comfortable, bright, and fully equipped. We were very comfortable (it was a very spacious three-bedroom apartment), and the kitchen, with its window overlooking the mountains, is a real treat. The owners, extremely kind, friendly, and never intrusive, and the strategic location (close to the center within walking distance and a 10-minute drive from the ski lifts) make it a highly recommended place.
