Welcome to the Presulis in Völs am Schlern!

The family-run Presulis Hideaway Apartments & Restaurant impresses with its peaceful panoramic location in Völs am Schlern. With views of Prösels Castle and close to the famous Seiser Alm, our hotel is the perfect charming holiday home for a relaxing, natural and varied holiday in the heart of the Dolomites. Our 14 luxurious apartments are stylishly and cosily furnished and offer the comfort of a hotel combined with the freedom of an apartment.

Enjoy & relax

In the morning, our guests can choose from a breakfast buffet and a breakfast basket for a cosy breakfast in the apartment. Between 4 and 6 p.m. there are delicious snacks at the aperitif buffet and from 6 pm, you can indulge in delicious dishes and selected wines in our à la carte restaurant. Our spa with year-round heated outdoor infinity pool, sauna area and garden is also inviting. The fitness room, which is open in the afternoons for guests aged 18 and over, and massages round off the wellness programme at Presulis.

Sporty nature experiences

All around the Presulis Hideaway Apartments & Restaurant in the idyllic South Tyrolean mountain village of Völs am Schlern, between meadows and forests, bathing lake and mountain peaks, there are many opportunities for active holidaymakers: hiking, mountain biking and climbing in summer and snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and tobogganing in winter. The 18-hole course of the St. Vigil Seis golf club is just 10 kilometres from our hotel, and the nearby Seiser Alm ski and hiking area is a highlight at any time of year. The towns of Bozen and Brixen with their beautiful arcades and a great cultural and shopping offer are further worthwhile excursion destinations.

We were at Presulis as part of the Völser Kuchlkastl (Völs Kitchen Kastl) and managed to get a table in the restaurant quite spontaneously. The conversation about the reservation was very friendly, and contrary to some descriptions, we were allowed to bring our dog. We were warmly greeted in the evening and shown to our seats. The service was polite and attentive, but unfortunately neglected us a bit when it came to drinks. The accompaniment from the kitchen, some cheese and bacon, was good. The appetizers were tasty, though not particularly outstanding, as many reviewers have described. After we pointed out during the drinks order that we would like a glass of wine with our main course, the service unfortunately ignored this request, and the main courses arrived relatively quickly. One of these consisted of beef and mashed potatoes, which unfortunately resembled wallpaper paste, and the accompanying coleslaw was too salty. The other dish, dumplings with venison ragout, was good, but overall, we didn't get the right value for money. In summary, it was more show than substance.

We were able to stay here as a family for almost a week. An absolutely wonderful place to relax! The location is wonderfully quiet and offers a magnificent view of the castle. The apartments are modern, stylish, and at the same time very comfortably furnished – you immediately feel at home. There's a fantastic saltwater pool that our son used every day. The warm hospitality is particularly noteworthy; you're greeted with genuine South Tyrolean warmth. The food in the restaurant is also excellent: regional products, creatively prepared, and beautifully presented. Perfect for anyone who wants to combine nature, enjoyment, and relaxation. A place to arrive, feel good, and return – simply fantastic! We were privileged to spend two unforgettable weeks at Presulis – for the second time. And once again, all our expectations were not only met, but exceeded. We've truly never experienced such a beautiful hotel! The service is consistently first-class, the ambience stylish, harmonious, and lovingly coordinated down to the smallest detail. After just a short time, a feeling of complete relaxation sets in – we've rarely been able to switch off and simply enjoy ourselves so quickly. The entire team is incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. You feel welcome from the very first moment – almost as if you're coming home. The rooms are tastefully furnished, the wellness area offers pure relaxation, and the outdoor pool with a view of the mountains is simply a dream. We are grateful for this wonderful time – and because we enjoyed it so much, we've immediately booked again for next year. Many thanks to the entire Presulis team – you make this place so special!

This was our second visit! Wonderful! Super-friendly staff and owners. Great rooms and apartments. Delicious food. This time, I especially want to highlight the appointment with the incredibly compassionate and empathetic masseuse, Birgit. A dream! A fantastic golf course nearby. Highly recommended!

We spent a fantastic week at Presulis. The house impresses with its great amenities and location, is pleasantly small, and therefore very personal. The family that runs it and the staff are all genuinely friendly and make the stay an unforgettable experience. The quality of the breakfast is outstanding thanks to its regional and fresh products, and the creations and taste in the restaurant were also remarkable. The spa area and the pool offered us a pleasant change of pace after our hikes. After these superlatives, it's difficult to single out anything in particular: Birgit's massages were a particular highlight of the holiday for my wife and children. Thank you for your hospitality, we would love to come back!

Very elegant hotel restaurant near the Presule Castle, it offers two menus, one with traditional classic dishes and one with more innovative dishes. We took a platter of cold cuts and cheeses for 2 people (there were 3 of us and it was more than enough), everything was excellent but in my opinion the speck and giardiniera were a bit too salty. We then took the canederli in oxtail reduction, very delicate, followed by baked Fiè goat with vegetables and spaghetti with ragù, really excellent. We concluded with a strudel and buckwheat ice cream, very interesting. Beautiful location and attention to every detail, impeccable service. The bread that is served is excellent

A real highlight near Bolzano – highly recommended! We were lucky enough to get two seats at Presulis at short notice – and were warmly welcomed from the very first moment. The choice of seating (inside or outside) was not just left up to us, but was presented with great enthusiasm. We opted for the covered terrace with its beautiful wooden look – simply a fantastic ambiance. The wine selection was impressive, and we felt very well advised. Every course was a culinary delight: A welcome from the kitchen with spicy goat cheese and Tyrolean speck set the perfect mood. The hand-carved tartare with quail egg, avocado cream, and crispy toast was perfectly matched. For our main courses, we had kid and fillet – both perfectly prepared and a dream to taste. There were even homemade chocolate pralines in between. The crowning finale: a delicate pear panna cotta and a tiramisu elegantly coated in chocolate. The overall package of cuisine, service, and atmosphere is simply superb. Anyone vacationing near Bolzano or Merano shouldn't miss this experience. We'll definitely be back—if we can get a spot!

The atmosphere, the staff, the quality of service, and the food were all extremely satisfying from the beginning of our stay to the very end. It's a shame this Hideaway only received 4 stars; compared to other 5-star Hideaways, this one is on par.
