Service, kindness, and top-notch availability. Excellent cuisine. My only complaint: the shower towels were a bit small, and there were no bathrobes or slippers for the spa. I'll be back if I have the chance.

We stayed at Hotel Talblick in Ortisei from December 25th to 31st this year for a Christmas holiday, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish—warm, relaxing, and truly memorable. We booked a Deluxe Suite and it was genuinely beautiful: spacious, elegant, and finished with great taste. The design feels premium and carefully thought out, with a wonderful mix of wood and exposed stone that gives the room a modern alpine character while still feeling cozy. We also loved the private little garden with chairs and a small table, a perfect extra space to enjoy a quiet moment. The suite is bright during the day and becomes incredibly welcoming at night thanks to many soft, warm lights that create a romantic atmosphere while still lighting the rooms properly. The layout is smart and comfortable: a real living area with sofa and coffee table, and a TV that can rotate 180 so you can watch it from the lounge or from the sleeping area. The double bed was beautiful and extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious with everything you need; the “open-style” shower has frosted glass for privacy and there’s even a window, which is a great touch. Storage is excellent with large wardrobes, a safe, plenty of dedicated space to keep everything organized, and lots of mirrors. The additional area with bunk bed and desk is also very well done, with good lighting and reading lights that make it comfortable and practical. Comfort-wise, the suite is outstanding: three separate thermostats for different zones, underfloor heating that keeps everything perfectly warm, thick doors and walls that ensure real quiet, and shutters/curtains that keep out cold, light, and noise—sleep quality was top-notch. After the room, the biggest reason our week was so smooth is that we came mainly to ski every day: I attended a ski course, while my family skied independently. In that kind of routine, logistics matter a lot, and here they were simply effortless. Even though the town centre is still close enough to enjoy, what we appreciated most was having two bus lines stopping right in front of the hotel, plus the hotel’s private shuttle service during the advertised hours. The shuttle was genuinely excellent—reliable, always available when needed, and it removed any stress about timing, transfers, or getting to the lifts. The internal garage was another huge comfort in winter: the car was always protected, and coming and going was easy and worry-free. We also loved the many winter-friendly details like the heated boot room, the well-organized storage space for skis and snowshoes, and the spa, which was perfect to relax after skiing. Food and drinks were absolutely delicious—everything we tried was outstanding. We loved that the dinner menu is posted already in the morning, and if there’s something you don’t like, the staff is happy to make small changes if you simply ask. The dishes felt refined in taste, composition, and presentation, and even the descriptions on the menu matched the care that goes into the dining experience. Service at dinner was exceptional: attentive, professional, and genuinely warm. A special mention goes to our waitress—she was fantastic, super friendly and charming, and she made us feel at home every single evening. The bar/lounge area is also wonderful after dinner, with comfortable seating and a cozy atmosphere, and we found it magical that there was always a candle on the tables and it was lit every evening—such a small detail, but it added a special warmth to the Christmas-week vibe. Overall, we left with the feeling of having had a truly perfect holiday: a beautiful and quiet suite with exceptional comfort, a structure that’s well organized for winter sports, and an atmosphere that feels welcoming and genuine. Above all, a heartfelt thank you to the entire staff—both for the shuttle service that made our ski days so easy and stress-free, and for the unforgettable dinners and hospitality that made every evening feel special. Everything was truly appreciated, and we would gladly come back.

We stayed at this hotel by chance, but we had a really great time. The owners and staff are so kind and always available, they make you feel at home. The food was excellent, the rooms were spacious, and everything was always spotless. Definitely recommended!!!

Little far from slopes, but there is a ski bus. And the owner makes every day deliveries to and from ski resorts.
