Very friendly and helpful! From the staff to the manager! Deserved five stars! Excellent food! Excellent wines at reasonable prices. Beautiful wellness facilities, unfortunately spread across several floors. Only accessible by stairs.

I stayed at this property with my husband, carving out a short mountain getaway. We were welcomed into a warm, family-friendly atmosphere; the rooms are beautiful and equipped with every comfort; the terrace where we enjoyed an aperitif is a wonderful place. A special mention goes to the kitchen and the dining room staff: breakfast is an experience, with every sweet and savory need met with the highest-quality products. In the afternoon, the staff welcomes us with a delicious snack, and dinner is the perfect conclusion. Creativity and attention to the aesthetics of the dishes, as well as the dietary needs of adults and children, a fascinating wine cellar, and the incredibly friendly staff and owners make this place a must-see for anyone seeking an authentic experience. Thank you to all the staff and owners. We'll be back.

We've stayed at the Matillhof in Latsch for the second time, and I highly recommend this small, exceptional hotel to anyone looking to vacation in the Vinschgau Valley. I can't even list everything that impressed me this time. The hikes on offer, which gradually increase in challenge over the course of the week, the not-too-large but superbly equipped spa area, the stunning view from the roof terrace over the valley as the sun sets, the delicious food made from regional and home-grown ingredients, the excellent wine selection, the swimming pool, and the clean and well-equipped rooms. Everything is just perfect here. But we especially love the helpfulness and warmth of the staff, who always cater to our personal needs. A wonderful place to relax for us and our children.

Simply the best in South Tyrol. We've been coming to the Matillhof in the beautiful Vinschgau Valley for 30 years. Always simply wonderful. The location, the rooms, the food, and above all, the personal touch. Thank you for that, but saying goodbye always hurts. But we'll be back!

We returned to the Matillhof after 15 years, and the warmth, service, excellent food, and guided hikes left nothing to be desired. There are few hotels that have maintained this high standard for years. We'll be back.

We were only here for dinner, but it was fantastic. The menu was superb, with a great selection! A highlight was the buffet with antipasti and various starters; we could have eaten our fill on that alone. There's also plenty of food for the kids, and a small playground right in front of the terrace. The friendliness and excellent service of all the staff is particularly noteworthy. We had a few questions and requests outside the usual schedule, as one of us needed a gluten-free diet. Our questions were answered patiently, and the menu was adjusted accordingly. That's a rare experience. Therefore, we give it our unconditional recommendation!

I've been a regular guest for 12 years now, and I have to say all the staff are friendly and child-friendly. There's also a playroom, a baby pool, a really cool playground, and childcare in the summer. For adults, there's a great spa and a sauna. There's a huge outdoor pool and a very nice indoor pool.
