Welcome to Berghotel Tyrol***s in Schnals Valley!

Our family-run Berghotel***S in Unser Frau in Schnals. At 1508 m above sea level, it is the ideal place for regenerating and at the same time active holidays in the mountains. Here in Schnals wonderful summit experiences are more than close. The glacier of Schnals is located at the border of North and South Tyrol and offers countless possibilities for sports enthusiasts at any season. Also, our house is located only about 30 km from Meran.

Cosy rooms & Wellness centre

Our guests are offered comfortable and spacious rooms. All of them are equipped with a balcony with panoramic view, phone, radio, LCD-TV, safe, WLAN and a private bathroom, with bathtub, bidet, large mirror, hairdryer and WC. Relax in our wellness area with indoor pool, a Finnish sauna and relax loungers. In our hotel, we give high importance to culinary pleasures. In the morning, we serve a regional and healthy breakfast and our kitchen team will spoil you with a 3-course gourmet menu in the evening. Once a week, we offer a pasta buffet. Vegetarian, lactose-free and gluten-free dishes are offered on request.

Discovering pastures and glaciers

The valley of Schnals – known as Ötzi’s home – is a real paradise for active vacationers and nature lovers. In summer, for instance, you will find wonderful hiking paths leading to impressive peaks and romantic mountain pastures. In winter, the 3,200 m high glacier of Schnals invites you to go skiing and there are many possibilities for cross-country skiers, tobogganers and snowshoe hikers.

We spent five days hiking at the beautiful Berghotel Tyrol, and it was simply top-notch. The hosts, Didi and Moni, were very friendly and gave us great hiking tips, and breakfast and dinner were second to none. We'll be back.

This is the second time I've chosen this hotel, and it met my expectations and needs exactly.
The location is perfect for excursions, the food is excellent and plentiful. The cleanliness of the rooms and the relaxation area (spa and pool) is excellent.
The welcome and service were impeccable. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Fantastic! Rooms with mountain views, and a ski bus literally right outside the hotel. Delicious food, especially dinner. A large selection of wines, delicious beer, and outstanding drinks. The owners are very friendly; you can tell they put a lot of heart into what they do. We had a truly wonderful time here. I wholeheartedly recommend it!
