Fietsen in je eigen tempo heeft iets moois. Je kunt fietsen in een tempo dat bij je past en je kunt de tochten naar wens inkorten of verlengen, met geplande en ongeplande pauzes. Allemaal goed en wel. Maar het kan nog spannender zijn om samen met anderen te fietsen, de strijd met hen aan te gaan en misschien zelfs deel te nemen aan de grootste en spannendste fietsevenementen in Zuid-Tirol.

Natuurlijk is deelname aan de beroemde Giro d'Italia, die de afgelopen jaren altijd een etappe in de Zuid-Tiroler Dolomieten heeft georganiseerd, uitsluitend voorbehouden aan professionals . De Dolomieten Bike Day, de Sellaronda Bike Day, de Stelvio Bike Day en vele andere staan echter open voor iedereen met het uithoudingsvermogen en de conditie om deel te nemen.
