Via Claudia Augusta fietsroute
Tegenwoordig wordt de route niet meer afgelegd door paarden en sandaaldragers, maar vooral door fietsers die op zoek zijn naar een bijzonder avontuur. Je kunt hier lezen over de route van de Romeinse weg door Zuid-Tirol.
De Route Claudia Augusta begint in Duitsland, om precies te zijn in Donauwörth in Noord-Zwaben. Van daaruit loopt hij door Beieren en Oostenrijk tot hij uiteindelijk in Zuid-Tirol bij Reschen uitkomt. Van daaruit loopt de route door het Val Venosta naar Merano en Bolzano, waar hij uiteindelijk Trentino binnenkomt in het zuiden van Zuid-Tirol.

De route nodigt je uit om je horloge thuis te laten en plaatsen en landschappen met nieuwe ogen te bekijken.
