Katharina Lanz - het dappere meisje uit Spinga
Spinga heeft een bewogen verleden. Katharina Lanz kwam zelfs in de annalen van de geschiedenis terecht. Het dappere meisje werd beroemd tijdens de Slag om Spinga in 1797, toen het boerenmeisje met een hooivork in haar hand samen met de Tiroolse schutters en de inwoners van het Wipptal vocht tegen het leger van Napoleon. Een heldenmonument in Spinga herdenkt haar tot op de dag van vandaag.
