Casies paasossen
De gespierde dieren wegen tussen de 600 en 1.000 kg en zijn al een imposante verschijning wanneer ze de hal binnen worden geleid, fijn verzorgd en geborsteld. Ongeveer twee weken voor het grote paasfeest worden de beroemde ossen, die allemaal een beschermd kwaliteitslabel hebben gekregen, hier geveild door de fokkers uit de Gsies-vallei. Het kan gemakkelijk gebeuren dat positieve prijstrends en gretige kopers de prijs opdrijven tot € 6,00 per kilo.
